Themed after River Spirit Nami from League of Legends, this PC was conceptualized and appreciated by many. Making its first appearance at Intel sponsored LANFest, the PC was an instant hit. Built on the back patio, the outside of the case was painted blue, inside with a bottom to top fade of silver to black to contrast the silver motherboard by MSI. Having an Intel powered i7-5960X CPU, its 64GB of Corsair Dominator RAM made anything thrown at this PC its bitch. Paired with a custom cooling loop by XSPC, temps were kept nice and cool as the Corsair fans kept the system pumped out as much GPU generated heat as possible. A pump stand was rendered in CAD and 3D Printed to elevate the pump for the PETG lines to be routed above the PSU fairing. Corsairs case was torn down, all PCB’s removed for each LED to be replaced with green LED’s to go with the theme of the build. 1200 Watts of power was distributed across the system by a Corsair 1200 PSU, which allowed for the 2080TI to render any part of the Rift with ease.
While no awards were given to this build, Corsair did make an appearance at LANFest. The section was roped off, the Tidecaller was relocated and a photography team went to work. Pictures were posted on Corsair’s social media afterwards.
